The way Uraraka evolved from launch to get to the point where she is now is cool. At first she was kinda lame cause she could just mindlessly spin around and her car would just rip you to pieces but now she’s awesome. You need aim and positioning and the character is more about jumping in and out of fights with high damage combos rather than “I will jump in and car because it is strong.”

At least that’s my two cents, you’re free to disagree.

I want to change her to a strike character because she is good on rapid but she can die because of the 300 health on her character and maybe put her to 400 health so she can live more time than the other character because the character like overhual have 400 health but doing 10 damage a hit with his aphla but unfortunately for ochako she doing about 50 damage with the aplha and 75 damage with the bata but if she is a strike she will be probably doing about 200 damage with aplha and her bata will be doing about 100 damage on the other character for the aplha instead of 3 hook shot make it 6 shot and then the bata instead of the car with 100 seconds make it where when the car hit a other character it will stunning for 30 seconds and put the burn damage on it so it can do more damage I mean 30% more damage and for the gamma put it where when after the rock drops and hit the opponent add a Ice effect to it so then you can keep damage them without getting knocked down

I've been playing Ochako for the majority of seasons 1 - 2 but the car nerf was too much for me

I still don't like the current Beta, the fact that it slows down your fall and doesn't hit below at all is so annoying, and experienced players just spam dodge it, with a Y that can also be dodge on reaction, I find it super hard to perform with Ochako.

I can stay alive for sure, but kill people? Kinda hard ngl

I do know the Y combo and use Y A Y A regularly in game

yeah deku has 400 due to his improvements he made throughout the series.

he doesnt have a lot of vertical movement, only running fast and even then, you have to build up Fa Jin meter for that, the idea is you have to make the descision of if you want to be fast, and weak, or slow and strong, because one of his moves uses fa jin for bonus damage, so if you use all your fa jin for movement then it will be weak. so i gave him 400 hp for the downtime when he is slow!

My issue with this combo is that you’re using all your movement resources

Meaning you’re a sitting duck at the end

And you need to be grounded for it to work otherwise you’re going to fling yourself past the target

If you want to finish a low HP target and B is on cooldown it’s still most likely a good option

That and A > Y does not combo

I don't know much about combos, I usually just do gamma alpha 2 hits with beta and gamma all the time, but when it comes to levels I do beta 7, gamma max, and if alpha isn't at 4 I get it there for the quicker reload speed, if not I just level up beta max and then alpha

A good combo is beta throw to stun, then gamma>alpha>gamma drop>alpha or gamma first then alpha+gamma drop+alpha

Beta 7 is mandatory, willingly going into fights without it is ill advised

I like B9 Y4 A9 Y9 or B9 A4 Y4 A9 Y9
Y4 is a decent range and damage upgrade for a somewhat low investment, then A9 because 1) the damage upgrade matters for Y combos, meaning by upgrading it you’re « making up » for the lost damage of not upgrading Y itself 2) you get a 0.5s cooldown reduction at lvl 4 and lvl 9 (from 3s at lvl 1 to 2s at lvl 9) making you more mobile and making it less punishing to dump A uses into your combos.
Y9 at the end because why not, bigger circle and bigger numbers are appreciated.

For combos, Y A Y A is the basic and most useful one I’d say.
Use Beta as a projectile, once you have the car it’s a huge hitboxe that knocks down ennemies giving you breathing time or making chases easier. It also works for harassing from a safe distance.
If you’re not planning on using the melee part of B, just press it, never hold it, better throw 2 cars and have one that misses than holding it trying to get the perfect shot and wasting time and B meter.

If you don’t have Y or don’t want to take the risk of becoming a very easy target in team fights, hook on an opponent and go to town with your B, once they’re knock down go back to high grounds/far enough away and either team heal or look for a way back in once your cooldowns are over. You can throw cars in this scenario too.

Also if you are chasing,you can always try to quickly shoot an alpha after you hit your opponent with your thrown beta,doing this little combo 2 or 3 times can melt your ennemies

So 1. The best way to play her is hit an run

Even thought you have 300 hp you still take a lot of damage so keep that in mind

Her abilities allow you to stay in the air for as long as possible

So to use your gamma from a good angle you use your special action to float and then you can get a air advantage

You should also learn how to use her combos before hoping into ranked with her

Beta level 7 and then the rest into your gamma

2. Her alpha is her main mobility

It has a bit of a cooldown so be careful when your on your last shot

You want to keep technical cards

If you hit somebody with it will airborne it will pull you in

If you don’t jump it can be used it just won’t pull you

You don’t need to shoot it for the purpose of damage but you can use it to close the distance
