I actually think it’s kinda overrated on him. If you want vertical height you have Special Action and gamma and if you know how to move with him losing either of those to get some height isn’t too big of a deal. Special Action is more of a deal because it lets him chance directions on the fly while zooming and gives him more height than a beta in the air would but overall I don’t think it’s needed

fun fact is rapigo can run a great number of tunes very well. but imo you never go wrong with will power, he's a 250hp character and a lot of spam in the game can make his hp drop to 0 very quickly, and he's one of the best characters for making use of willpower's second chances

for the other slot however it really comes down to preference imo, stuff like accel might be the best right now (?!) but if it doesn't work for you then it doesn't work for you

young afo's tune is also pretty good on him afaik as are many many other options

you can totally skip willpower alltogether as well, rn I'm running a fixer build with all might version that deals 140 damage per alpha at max level with 1 strike on the team

so honestly, kinda go wild

before you might get a more detailed answer I'll just say that you need to bounce on the same side as the enemy after the gamma, you seem to be bouncing backwards aka away from them. there's a bit more nuance than that but that seems like the biggest mistake to me

gamma air melee is 350dp as well, so the only things you can hit before the combo are beta or 2 hits of alpha (I doubt you'll hit an air melee without losing fast fall but technically that would work too), so be careful of that as well, to not do for example a full alpha before it

as for my personal preference I tend to just spam willpower fits, so for me old uniform villain style, parallel world default, cyber hero fancy, as well as all might ver. default as my no willpower pick would be my personal favorites

but you can't really go too wrong as long as the costume has at least a few slots to boost damage with

the easiest tunes to use imo would likely be willpower, quirk factor release, fixer, extra wind, revenge tech, space hop - though I don't like recommending that on e very much, high speed recovery, revenge support, revenge rapid, and revenge assault
if you get enough kills card dupe and gp sucker, as well as perhaps special attack reload boost and hp sucker become options too

aight strafe panzer combat is the only alternative if you wanna combine it with willpower and has minimally worse sub slots (if we get an alpha boosting strike villain soon, else it's a decent bit worse, and also the main tunings are in the worse order imo (max qfr instead of max willpower)

though I wonder if qfr also has good synergy with something else perhaps, imma think of what else you could combine it with

festival default (the one we made the forward jump height build on), casual style dangerous (overall a bit better subslots imo), and ig christmas santa default all can run quirk factor + hyper regen which might be really nice. casual dangerous and festival could maybe consider fixer, though I'm not sure I'd recommend it. crit perm ig is an option too but less fun than willpower imo

strafe panzer default if you wanna combine it with gp sucker

open faced and festival villain can combine it with accel/level 11 blue hero but I personally dislike not having some level of survivability

you need to "build fast fall" by doing alpha alpha or air melee alpha (usually happens after a special action cancel) in the air without other moves in between. fast fall persists through beta and gamma, so alpha alpha beta alpha beta alpha still ends at "level 1 fast fall" but gl still being in the air by then cause canceling beta with fast fall active will usually send you downwards quite strongly. also special action resets your fast fall, so if you ever need to stop yourself from falling too much, use special.
gamma air melee gamma works at any fast fall level, though how to hit it could be slightly different for fast fall level 1 and anything level 2 and beyond iirc

On this build, it would be possible to run 3 alpha tunings on the fixer side with one health damage buffer tuning and one reload tuning. Would it be worth it to run this build or are there better high alpha damage bakugo builds. i'm asking for rapid Bakugo.

it's prolly his best fixer built and one of his absolute best builds overall imo. I'd definitely recommend it

all might ver default has about the same alpha damage but I'd prefer willpower over rapid villain special

for rapidgo, i wanna run spacehop acceleration, but i dont know how people be doing the gamma into melee, or how to get a melee off with rapidgo, could someone shoe me how via video or just telling me

Bakugos air melee auto tracks to were he's looking if your close enough to the enemy, if your high in the air do 2-3 alphas then drop with a gamma then melee it should auto track to the opponent

And if your trying to beta into a melee what I do is use my alphas in the air, then when I go for a beta after I pass them with beta I flick my camera back to them so when I melee I hit them

I dont think you do because it sends them in a different direction when you hit them with the gamma

In the clip you sent it looks like you dont have enough falling gravity for bakugo to be close enough for him to auto lock to deku
