What play style do you have? It'll help me recommend a costume

Do you like having mobility or being aggressive and have tunings back you up with the aggressiveness

These three builds can work. The first one focuses on survivability and movement with Willpower and Wall Runner. The second one is the middle of the road with Wall Runner and Special Attack Reload Boost so he's rewarded for being aggressive and getting downs with more movement. The last one is all in on damage with PU Power Intensified and Full Burn.

I did a bit of testing regarding enhanced gravity/fast falling this season cause while it annoyed me before when it happened to me "randomly", it matters a lot more now with current physics and cause of special action cancel it also happens a lot more often

I'm sure the best rapigos prolly can just feel when they're gonna fast fall but since I only recently figured this stuff out it'll still take me some getting used to before I can instinctively know what will happen every time

I tried making gamma gamma true with fast fall plus accel previously but it wasn't nearly enough

oh just got my first and it was with only one level of fast fall applied and slower execution, think I was trying to go too fast and that messed up the tracking

oh I figured it out lol

your melee needs to be facing the right direction

so you can do it without aim mode if you make the gamma backflip you so that your melee is oriented forward at them, or if you need to bounce another direction than backwards you need to use aim mode to orient your melee accordingly
[edit: aim mode still majorly helps but with the next step the options you have for without increase at least a little bit]

I likely would have tried to close the gap with beta but then I would have gotten trapped in a fast fall. If you only spam alphas you can stay in the air longer than I expected, gotta steal that. I think I might have a bad habit of using beta for movement too easily, esp. when I have fast fall built up I gotta watch it more

afo, yeah prolly better to not get pulled though frequently I can escape even in the air but that one I very much get,
red kiri, I assume you need to roll the rocks!? now that I think of it I have been struggling taking bad trades vs him,
iida, ig rolling his attacks again, I usually try to alpha away from him when he attacks me and that often works decently well

also red deku ig you have to waste your betas like crazy if you try to be in the air (I don't manage beta cooldowns very well) but I know I also tend to play a bit lower vs him than vs other chars

also btw I tested the beta thing vs kiri and iida, and my reflexes were not good enough to dodge against my friend's kiri beta with mine, perhaps I was a bit tired when testing but it seemed so difficult, even vs the bot I super rarely got it. All of those were from the ground though, I assume that if kiri is using beta out of flight I should be able to avoid it that way, as for iida I kinda was able to sometimes avoid him when he was level 1 quirks and no recipro, or if I got very very lucky, most of his moves seemed to track very high though, esp when in recipro

And my alpha aim isn't althat good rn so gamma dmg is more beneficial for me ngl
