remove your local saves for xbox 360 games in storage setiings clear local save data

Did you uninstall the game and try to reinstall at this point?
It's on a disc
But I uninstalled all the updates, the DLCs I have, and took the disc out, cleaned it, and put it back in

hit y on the game once its in the tray and install to hard drive
on the home screen
make sure the game is hilighted in the disc tray square and hit Y

The only thing I can think of is to maybe do a backup of your data and do a factory reset at this point. I know its not ideal but youre pretty much at that point to get it to work correctly. Installing the game helps games even run a tad better too so its a weird situation you got there. You did clear the system cache right ?
