I bought modern warfare 2 2009 on Xbox a couple months ago but then refunded it. I wanted to play it again though. So I tried to buy it again but the Microsoft store said it was already in my inventory. So I just downloaded it. After that I tried to play it but I got the error that says “do you own this game”. I’ve tried everything I could. I cleared the data cache. I reset my Xbox. But nothing works. So modern warfare 2 is in my inventory but I can’t play it because I don’t own the license anymore. And I don’t have the option to buy it again. What do I do?

if you uninstall and the restart your console, you should have the option to buy it again from the microsoft store.
Ok
I tried that. But I’ll try it again anyway
Any other tips?
I just restarted my console. But I only have the option to download it. Not buy it.
