I got booted off the servers randomly and went to reconnect my wifi and now I can no longer connect my wifi at all

I played a single match of a game and randomly got booted off the servers i then went to reconnect my wifi and now I can no longer connect my wifi at all despite no wifi issues or anything that would cause it to not work however people are saying there are party issues but why would my system not let me connect to wifi at all because of that
