TLDR: I was hacked and have actively called & pursued my case and microsoft/xbox is actually doing nothing to retrieve my acc and they just keep going in circles with AI prompts, have any of you had this issue?
My Xbox/Microsoft account was compromised & deleted last week by a hacker and i immediately informed microsoft and supplied the information they asked for, i then had to go through a ridiculous ai just to get to an employee, who redirected me to another employee, who directed me to the “security” team that can only respond through email.. when they feel like it. and after I submitted the evidence they have the gall to tell me that my information wasn’t sufficient?? i literally gave them my console serial number/ip address/ payment history/ friends list.
these aren’t real people interacting with me or my account, its so blatantly AI it’s insane, do they seriously just expect me to go “ah damn thats sad, my 13 year old account” like?!
I don’t understand the point of a “customer support” service for a BILLION dollar company if i’m just going to be stiff-armed by AI emails which I waiting for for a WEEK
I’d LOVEE to talk to an actual helpful person, ridiculous they’re trying to reject me getting my OWN ACCOUNT back which they clearly can pull info from?? this makes 0 sense they literally know what xbox i sign in from. i’m INCREDIBLY exhausted and annoyed from this process, genuinely worst customer support i’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. I’ll appreciate ANY help whatsoever.
