Alright, so, on Discord, I’ve had NO problem streaming in the past like this. I’ve been able to stream any game I want to other players, and they could see it fine…
Today, however, I was playing the Halo MCC, and I tried streaming on Discord. My friends could not see the stream, and after a few seconds, I got a message saying “This game does not allow streaming.” The stream continued, but all the other people could see was just the Xbox logo.
Later on, I got on Helldivers 2 and tried streaming again. The exact same problem happened. I couldn’t livestream to anybody, and they just saw the Xbox logo. I then decided to open another game, RDR2, to see if the games did in fact NOT allow streaming anymore, which I found hard to believe. Nope, RDR2 didn’t work either.
Here are all of the ‘fixes’ I found online, which I have tried so far.
I rejoined the VC.
I restarted my Xbox (multiple times).
I unlinked and relinked my Discord account to my Xbox.
I made sure no apps were running in the background.
I cleared my MAC address.
I checked my settings (streaming IS allowed, and I have an adult profile so nothing is restricted.)
I unplugged my headset from my controller, and plugged it back in AFTER I started the stream.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
