The Xbox app gave me a gift card with $6 to use in store in exchange for points using the app and games, but I can’t find it to redeem the code and there is no mailbox or similar where to check.
Also my email doesn’t have it.
Anyone knows how?

Sounds like it was an ad for Microsoft Rewards. You'd go to http://rewards.bing.com/redeem

If it is from Rewards, it's automaticalaly deposited into your account, but it can take up to 24 hours after you redeem it. If you don't get it in that time, check your order history on the redemption page and it'll either list a code there or give the option to resend it
