#Controller RB acting up

I think the issue I’m having is usually called “going soft” idk, my right number randomly has periods where it can be pushed down but it doesn’t click or register inputs without excessive force

The thing is that it isn’t just staying like that permanently, sometimes if I attempt to press the button while it’s upside down it starts to act fine for a random amount of time before it begins going soft again

Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there any possible chance this can be fixed without spending money?

If it matters, it’s the default black controller that comes with the Series X

Also visually it doesn’t look any different from the left one that works perfectly

Which admittedly it’s not as hard to push at the moment than it was last night when it was practically unresponsive

Alright I just made an irresponsible choice, I lowered the trigger to expose the inside of the controller where the bumper is and then used attempted to use high concentration alcohol wipes to wipe it out, it wasn’t very thorough because the gap is tiny but my bumper just began clicking like normal, during the random periods where it would work it still felt stiff and sounded different than usual but this sounds perfect now
