Hi, I have a question regarding a way I turn off my xbox, recently I started turning it off by keeping the button on my console pressed for a couple seconds, I do this cuz i have my Xbox in standby and I know it uses more energy like that, but I dont know if its bad for the console, I first close any games before doing that tho, and i only do it at night and I keep it in standby during the day so I can turn it on faster, so, is it bad to turn it off that way?

like how you hold down a laptops power button if it freezes? it just stops everything, turning it off and then you can turn it back on. you'll probably lose progress, but it doesn't corrupt anything

if anything, what you doing is normal
