Sooo I have recently bought copy of Minecraft for Nintendo Switch. After I logged into my Microsoft/Xbox account it named me MG50 instead of Sukiro (which is my gametag). Ive found out its the name in my Xbox app under my gametag and I cant find a way how to change it.

That would be a "classic" gamertag. You'd have to go in to change your gamertag and it should let you change it separately

Nope it only lets me change my gamertag. There is no Classic gamertag option

Have you tried on both the console and website?

Ive tried only website because i had my xbox where i probably had chosen nick MG50 but it red ringed and i have no longer access to any xbox rn. I know at one point i changed my gametag to Sukiro but my original nick (classic gametag) stayed the same. It wasnt a issue untill today when i bought a copy for nintendo and it went for my classic gametag instead of my current one.

It keeps the old tag when you add special characters to your gamertag
