@timber tapir Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.

If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)

- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
Is it a USB flash drive or a portable hdd
usb flash drive
it is usb 3.0 i beleive and i formatted it to the right thing too
i cant add embeds but when it stops recording after anywhere between 2-6 minutes it says “Recording to stopped
Faster drive required for current resolution” (yes the double space is there) but i dont understand because it IS a fast enough drive and its recording at 720p (the lowest res)
It should have worked. It's formatted to ntfs. What's the storage size?
128gb
Did u try restarting the Xbox. And unplugging and replugging the drive.
Also did u set the drive to media only
no, but i can try that in a few minutes
i think so, if u mean like when it asks if u want to only have videos and other media or have games on it too i picked just media
ill update this thread once ive tried it but thanks for the help
