This is probably a dumb question but I recently got a code that is still active for the xbox 360, its a game code but when i try to redeem it, says something went wrong on microsoft’s end

The 360 marketplace has been shut down so depending on what it's for, it may just no longer work

Assassin’s creed liberations HD, it says it’s available on the series x shop when i look up assassin’s creed

It can only be downloaded via a code

That game was actually delisted in 2022 so it's no longer available for purchase. So the code may not work for that reason

I called support, the person just told me it can only be redeemed with an xbox one or 360?

Ive seen people on reddit redeem it in 24 and 25, tho idk if theres a trick behind it

There is an outage currently but idk if that’s affecting code redemption for games? Cuz i saw people still redeeming it in 2024 despite it being delisted prior so im not sure
