When I try to hold the mute button and power button it doesn’t do the whole program to reset and it just doesn’t work as if the buttons don’t register or do anything.

I have already tried restarting my Xbox and hard restarting it I have tried walking far away to see if the Xbox headset mic light turns off and it doesn’t.
