Let me start this off by saying — THE ISSUE IS NOT MY WiFi!!! It would’ve been resolved DAYS ago if it was. Now, for the past few days my Xbox Series X is disconnecting itself randomly from my WiFi, ever since the day I was requesting support from EA, they asked for my IP and sent me a link to check it and I told them. I’ve seen people say it’s an IP conflict and to switch on static IP, did that, didn’t work. I’ve been told to clear my alternate MAC address, did that, didn’t work. I’ve OBVIOUSLY been told to hard reset my Xbox, i’ve done that more times than I can count, DIDN’T WORK. I cannot connect an ethernet cable without completely moving my setup so that’s off the table. I need a fix please!! This has been going on for days and I have zero clue how to fix it and it’s extremely frustrating!

@whole basin Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
Normally this will be because of wireless interface it is your connection that's dropping
The way to test is to use a wired network if the issue goes away then you have your answer,
While I understand that using a wired connection might not be any good for your case. You will have to accept that wireless can disconnect and that's just one of the downsides to wireless. Everything has upsides and downsides
My advance would be to read up on Power Network Adapter this would allow you to use your power sockets for your network but there is also other options out there
If my problem is that i’m playing wireless, then why was I able to play wireless for years with 0 problems up until now? randomly?
that could be million reasons for that, It can be anything from a car been parked outside and interfering to a pair of headphones causing interface. It might not even be on your side it could be on the ISP or server side.
that's why wireless is unreliable and thats the downside the upside is that its well wireless
is there any other way I can fix it aside from playing wired, I cannot play wired.
yes for sure has I mentioned above My advance would be to read up on Power Network Adapter this would allow you to use your power sockets for your network but there is also other options out there
only you will know what's best for you so do some research
Do you use the browser on xbox a lot? Certain websites that have access to your information will do that. Had it happen to me for like 2 months straight where my xbox would disconnect from the wifi for sometimes hours on end because i would be using the browser a lot. If you do use it i would recommend going to microsoft edge icon and go to manage app and delete all saved data, it wont be instant but it will work. IF this is not the case in which you do not use the browser then i got no clue what could be causing the issue
I mean I can try it, but it’s not disconnecting for hours on end, restarting my Xbox fixes it the moment I log back in, but nobody wants to restart their Xbox 7 times a day just to play.
No, it did not fix it.
Best advice i can give is either hard reset your xbox or factory reset it if you know how
do you know how to factory reset your xbox?
