Hey, I’ve got a question about Xbox region switching.
My main Xbox account is set to an Asian region, and I’ve bought games using a local Visa card. The issue is that some games in my region are either censored, completely unavailable, or locked behind bundles.
I've also read some game reviews that the US version of some games works better (I.e. has FPS boost, One X enhanced ETC)

I just was wondering if it’s safe to occasionally switch regions to buy games that aren’t available in my region, get uncensored versions of certain games or
buy games individually instead of being forced into bundles

So my main concerns are:

1- I’ve heard Microsoft has been cracking down on region switching because some people abused it to buy cheaper games.

2- Some titles are censored or unavailable for no clear reason (like RE5 and RE6).

3- In my region, some games are bundle-only. For example, I can’t buy Mortal Kombat X by itself — I have to buy a bundle that includes it.

4- Some games are relatively cheaper in the US for example
Metal Gear Rising (about $19.99 vs ~$27)
Midnight Club: Los Angeles ($10 vs ~$26)

I’m worried that switching regions, even once in a while, could get my account banned.
Has anyone done this recently? Is it actually risky, or still considered safe?

it is not allowed for the reasons you already stated.

#

yes its risky and can get your account in trouble.

#

the reasons why they do it with some games are Shrug

i wouldnt reccomend losing your whole account over a game possibly being better somewhere else.
