Issues linking my epic games account to my microsoft account

I recently subscribed to the xbox game pass to claim the fortnite crew perk.
Unfortunately every time i try to link my account it says it's already linked to another xbox account and when I try to sign in with my xbox account on the epic games website it tells me I need to put my personal info to get started but every time i fill the whole thing it tells me my email is already linked. Crazy thing is i checked my microsoft account manager and saw every linked platform and it had my epic games account there. If anybody faced the same problem and has a solution please let me know

check ur epic account and see which xbox acct its linked to.

welp , i did and it doesn't say an account is linked to it but evey time i go through the process of linking both accounts it says my xbox is linked to another account

Sadly nothing you can do about it, the same thing happened to me about 3 months ago and as of right now I have not found a solution

Bro i was talking to a friend of mine like yesterday and he has been trying to fix this for 3 YEARS

imo its dumb asf epic decides to add an ai "assitant" that you can always count on to waste your time and not help. epic games has to be top 10 worst game companies support wise. they really are just petty but thats what happens when you make games that millions of people play and profit billions of dollars from it that they dont think they should put in the time and effort to help people with technical issues and who lose their account like i did.

and it wont get any better they will just continue to give us terrible seasons on fortnite or have terrible customer service as long as they are making money like they currently are
