My xbox games are auto updating

As the title says my xbox games are auto updating but i have the setting on not auto update because i dont want it to auto update but it still does it anyway. Is there any way to fix this?

i didnt try to do anything i just keep getting kicked from games when new updates release because its auto updating when i dont want it to

i checked the setting but as i thought it was on not auto updating

i googled it but it told me to do what id already done which wasnt helpful

or just tell me how to stop games updating in the middle of a game

if you load up a online game when downloading something the download will pause/ slow drastically down till you quit the game.
