I had an xbox360 account called wavehead1992 that i used on xbox 360 and was associated with my gmail. i stopped using the account but eventually got a pc thinking i was using the same one on that same account but here is where it gets weird. It ends up making a new xbox account called fabe2408 i thought i was simply changing my name but i wasn't. When i turned my 360 on years later thats when i realized my wavehead account wasn't on it anymore and when i tried to sign in it too me to this new account. The wavehead account still exist i am able to message it and customer support told me it hasn't been deleted but it had a gmail i had never seen attached to it. somewhere within a 3 year time span someone replaced my gmail with theirs. im asking for help here because this situation seems to be unique where microsoft makes me a new account so when i try account recovery it tries to recover just my microsoft account not the xbox account that i had. Im asking for advice on what i should do and i won't be giving up. that account has years of saved and game data that i wanted to keep and carry on thinking i was still using it, and even if it didn't it still has a lot of personal information on it. I have screenshots that the account used to belong to me including perchase history of xbox live and showing when i first bought xbox live. i am hoping this would be enough to prove this account belongs to me and somehow get it back but again i just need to know what to do because i've been trying for a very long time.

i've used the website but nothing on there will work since the guy replaced the main gmail and for some reason microsoft made a new xbox account. Is there anything else i can do to prove this is my account?

yeah but i can't recovery a microsoft account i already have the issue is my xbox account had its primary gmail changed somehow by whoever hacked into and i don't know what steps to take to get it back
