How to instantly put a game into "Quick resume"

Is there a way to put a game into "Quick Resume" without fully closing it?
What I usually do is keep two games active at the same time, the one I'm actually playing and another one just to trigger Quick Resume
I'd press the Xbox button go to Home launch the second game then quickly close it so the first game gets placed into Quick Resume without shutting down completely.
