When I launch the app on PC and login it appears to work but as soon as I restart the app it asks for a login again. Some games (i think offline ones) manage to launch but call of duty just asks for login then crashes after loading and asks for login again. This issue randomly appeared yesterday evening it worked fine in the morning.

There is no error code and I could not find much on fixing this issue.

Its very annoying. Xbox had loads of reports on down detector last night but now its calmed down a lot so I'm not sure

and its not just for cod its for other games on the xbox app and gamepass as well
i had this issue, had to wipe my whole pc to fix it
factory reset? damn... is there a way to not do that adn fix it-
my gpu drivers are out of date on purpose for vr but its been fine before

I tried to open games with my dads account (the one with game pass) and it worked
so yeah i think its account related

I opened Powershell and typed:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
make sure u do it witht he xbox pc app open so that it prompts an update then update it and it should be fine

out of interest what country are you guys in? I'm in the Uk maybe it could be an issue with nearby servers?
