Recently, a week ago on a Friday, at 3pm pst, my microsoft email that is connected to my Minecraft account and windows account was hacked. It took me a few hours to realize why i couldn’t log into the account through microsoft log in thing and realized it was most likely hacked/compromised. I have recently the past few days sent out 3-4 account recovery forms to microsoft, tried a method to contact team youtube support and recently just today, tried to use xbox customer support to send another microsoft account recovery form. I am recently starting to get a but worried thinking that i won’t get my email account back and hoping that someone can try to help me out with this issue and for me to have hope and not be worried too much about this issue.
#Microsoft email got hacked/compromised but xbox account is untouched.

@elfin ravine Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
i have a feeling that whoever hacked my microsoft email, left it untouched AFTER, they have changed my email and password on it. I believe that only the EMAIL and PASSWORD were changed and nothing else in particular happened to the email or my device that is connected to the email of the windows account
Im hoping later today or the next day or so someone can respond and help me out with any methods that might work or help, and as-well as helping me stay less worried about this problem/issue rather than being really worried or too overwhelmed about the situation
