#i cant redeem PC gamepass, keeps converting to gamepass ultimate

i bought a 3 month PC gamepass code on amazon, and i already turned off recurring billing for gamepass ultimate, but when i go to redeem it i get this message:

"Redeeming your PC Game Pass code will automatically convert to a shorter duration of {prorateProductTitle} and will be added to your current {prorateProductTitle} account. See conversion information. By redeeming this code, you agree to this conversion. All membership conversions are final and conversion ratios are subject to change for future code conversions. If you choose not to redeem at this time, you can keep your code and redeem it prior to its expiration date, if any.

Your existing subscription ends on 10/22/2025

After this code is redeemed, your subscription will end on 12/21/2025"

i want it to give me the full three months of PC gamepass instead of downgrading me to 2 months of ultimate, but the only options are "cancel" or "continue" what should i do?

If u have an activate ultimate sub. Then wait til that expire then use the pc game pass code

It wont give u the full 3 months since ultimate cost more than pc game pass.

i want pc game pass, is there any way to do it before my current sub expires? i dont want to have somebody else use the code, and also not 100% sure if games i have installed will uninstall themselves if i run out of gamepass

There's no way to do it before your current sub expires without just converting it to Game Pass. You'd just have to wait for your current one to expire first. Nothing will uninstill on its own when it expires.
