#Xbox keeps shutting down

I don't know why but my xbox keeps shutting down and giving a ventilation message when i turn it on, i originally had it plugged into a power strip but now it's plugged into the wall so i don't know why it's still shutting down please help

It has been packed away for a long time and i just tried using it again yesterday

If it’s not a ventilation issue, then you fan ifs broken. The Xbox is overheating

Well we just cleaned the dust out and my friend who put it back together didn't hear the fan when it came back on so i am guessing it is the fan so do you know if there are any third party fans that will work that don't cost an arm and a leg
