#Fast Scroll Problem

Yesterday, my controller and Xbox were working perfectly fine. I got on to my controller today, and found that I had the fast scroll problem, and I’m worried because I can’t afford a new controller or console.

Whenever I try to navigate the UI, whether it’s the Xbox UI, or in a game or app like YouTube, it scrolls way too far really fast.

This is happening no matter what buttons I use to scroll. My triggers, back buttons, my d-pad, or my joysticks. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I’ve turned my Xbox off and on, I’ve completely restarted it, I’ve unplugged it for 30 seconds, etc, but it’s still not working properly.

Not necessarily. Fast scroll indicates a button or key is stuck down on something attached to the console. If you only have the single controller attached, yes, it's possible that something is going bad. A reboot may also fix the issue. But if you have multiple controllers or a keyboard attached, try disconnecting each of them to make sure one of them isn't the culprit.
