I’m trying to play dying light 1 with a buddy but I can play every other multiplayer game just fine just for dying light I can’t play but my friend can do multiplayer just fine. Is older games multiple limited on essential or something?

So I go in the game and turn on multiplayer so I can play with a friend but everyone time I try to get out of the menu so it can confirm it says I need Xbox live gold to play multiplayer but games like phas work just fine

you should not have to turn anything on

For dying light 1 you have to turn on multiplayer for you to play with friends then once you get off the menu it should create a lobby and now I can invite friends but currently I can’t even get off the menu without keeping it on single player
