Steam deck wont appear on pc monitor when connected

when i plug my steam into my pc monitor itll detected the monitor but i will not appear on the monitor no matter wat i do even if i turn on safe mode i use to be able to hook it to my monitor just fine but now it wont show up ive tried all i can think of nothing works what do i do?

i tried the safe mode method that forces it to show up it didnt work i selected the option where is shows on both the steam deck and pc monitor at once and nothing happend

i have searched but nothings worked
