@narrow gull Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
I reset my xbox one multiple times, even bought it again on another account still no luck
If it's an Xbox One, are the games you're trying to play made for Xbox One? Or are they Series XS only games?
If it's a Series XS game, those only work via streaming on Xbox One, and for that you need at the moment Game Pass Ultimate
Im trying to play r6 and Minecraft they’ve worked in the past no way the just stop working out of the blue
And what error does it tell you?
You can always reach out to Xbox official support, they are the ones who can check if your Game Pass status is properly set up.
You can also press the Xbox button on the controller, go to your profile tab on the top right, select your account and then go to "My Account".
In there check the Subscriptions option, it should tell you if you have Game Pass active properly.
Which game pass tier did you get?
Ultimate
Doesnt even give me an error i load my game and it says you cant play because you dont have gamepass
When i literally bought it
On your profile, do you have the ultimate tag next to your gamer tag?
Is your Xbox console your Home Console?
Yes it works on my other old gen xbox but not the one i use for games
I think there might be something related to that then, if you have another console that is connected to the same account, but not sure.
The console you use to play games should always be set as your Home Console in the settings (it's in the Personalization settings menu I believe) so you can always use it to play Game Pass games even if you're offline.
If that's not working, then reach out to Xbox customer support
