Heya! Some time ago (not sure when, only recently getting back into playing games on my Series S) there was an update that changed how opening recently played games on the home menu was handled. Selecting an application now opens a card showing information about the game, and I have to tap A a second time before I actually get into the game. Is there a way I can change that behavior? When I fire up my console I'm typically just trying to get back into the game and I don't find that card particularly useful.

There is an option in personalization settings
Settings called the Games hub, under Games and Apps
Settings > General > Personalisation > Games & Apps.
Uncheck the boxes under 'Choose whether game hubs open'
