#nba 2k26 mycareer not working/opening

After i press enter MyCAREER it shows me the stuff that i need to add a parent, after that goes away im unable to play, as in EVEN if i press A, nothing happens

it may be because microsoft is down but im unsure, its mostly scaring me because i just paid 70 dollars for this thing
