Remote play bugged

So whenever i try to stream my xbox im greeted with the screen which says “ready to play” and green button with “tap to start playing” which is normal
On an iPad Air
Before the ios update worked fine
After the new update
The tap to start playing button is unresponsive no matter what I do it doesn’t work
I’ve tried relaunching the “app”, restarting the console and device literally anything I could think of to no avail
Sometimes upon launching I don’t get that screen and it’s all good which is very rare
