I’ve had this controller since the beginning of the year, and I left it unused for about 4 months because my friend lent me his PlayStation 4. I kept the controller in the box to avoid dust, but now that I tried to use it again to resell, I noticed that the A, B, X, and Y buttons feel “soft.” Does anyone know how to fix this or at least make it better?

Work, but a want sell it
So it would be better if it was normal
The button will wear in with time and be less 'clickly'
its normal they wear in with time
i wouldnt worry about it unless the buttons dont work

okay so there sticking
But I wasn't using it the last time I used it was "normal" and I took it out of the box to sell
it looks like you got something sticky on it try cleaning it with Isopropyl alcohol
My brother spilled my isopropyl alcohol. Can I use regular alcohol instead?
no...
😭
especially since higher concentration of alchol can damage parts of the controller
if you dont have Isopropyl alcohol then you can use baby wipes
But I think the problem is more inside, the handkerchief would only clean outside
You're writing the Bible, brother?
the only thing anyone here can recommend is the clean the outside of the controller. for anything inside take it to a game shop and have them fix it at ur own risk if u think there is something wrong with the internals
