I have 2 xboxs ,one xbox s for my little brother and a xbox x for me. All games always worked fine but recently we got a new wifi, its newer and faster then the old one by a lot. On my xbox X,games such as sea of thieves and fortnite keep crashing when i open them(sometimes it crashes straight away and sometimed after 1 minute) my older xbox S still runs these games on the new wifi with no problems. I dont know what to do as playing on the older xbox is NOT an option

- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)

- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
do apps do the same thing, or just games?
Just games but them 2
Fortnite and sea of thieves
All the other online games work
It amazes me how
Ive tried moving the xbox closer to the wifi
When it crashes, is there a specific error message?
I think it lets me in the game a bit longer
I don't believe WiFi would cause this.
As Tes mentioned, answer the above questions from Clippy and then that will hopefully help us.
Ive mentioned the xbox types,i dont know how to fix it and theres no error code
This happens on my Series S often.. The fix I've found is to clear space by deleting games. I'm not sure why, but it seems to be the "Even though the game is on your external drive, you need so much space on the internal drive" error, without actually giving me the error message, because deleting a single game to bring my free space up ever so slightly fixes it without fail.
