my friends say my wireless headset makes me sound really far away and i have no clue how to fix it whatsoever

also i can only hear party chat, i cant hear game volume or anything else from my xbox

for the mic issue, there's a app for the headset. check for updates for the headset.
for the audio issue, check the audio mixer. doesn't look like there's on the headset, so mixer will be controlled on the xbox guide under party.

Okay and what was the outcome ? Does it let you control the mixer or is it greyed out? Or is the mixer set correctly ? By you saying you tried those means nothing to us and doesn't help us to help you
If you can hear party but not in game then your mixer could not be set correctly your headset may not be seen has a stero headset if uts greyed out
