I've been trying to connect my Xbox One controller to my PC and it hasn't been working. I haven't had issues like this before. I tried uninstalling the Xbox controller driver, and it won't even reinstall now.

Since you mentioned using the same cable, I would recommend trying a different cable or controller with the original cable to make sure that it's not the cable that's the issue. As for the driver it should reinstall itself if you plug the controller back in

Is the controller being recognized in the xbox accessories app or in device manager?

I just haven't had this issue yet so I'm not quite sure how to fix it ^~^
I would strongly suggest making a ticket with Xbox support though :3

Sounds like there’s an issue with your cable. You need a data and power cable. Some charger cables are power only.
