@slim meteor Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
I have not tried anything cause I don’t know what to do
You can change your date of birth on Microsoft account page.
No you cannot change the age.
Changing the age mentioned above does not work.
What do you mean?
Well, your Xbox profile data gets fetched from MS account. Name too for example.
i am telling you that changing the birthday does not work.
I am saying worked for me.
no it didn't lol.
i used to work for Xbox Support.
you can't "age up" an account to 18 by simply changing the birthday
Whatever. Guess you originally set it as a child account then?
It’s baffling though if that’s how MS rolls. Because I had to confirm my age with the account being old enough to drink.
confirming your account is not at all what OP is asking
they have a child account and want to "age it up" to use adult account features.
you cannot do that by changing the DOB
I know that. I’m saying if age gets locked then why do they ask to confirm it.
Are you talking about UK age verification?
Yeah. Though it’s coming to all regions soon.
Maybe? They need to pass laws for that
Which could take years
