My psychotic ex girlfriend and mother of my child has had access to my account and devices (along with my recovery email) and locked me out of my account for the past 6 months, I finally got back in and kicked her off today, Changed all the login information and activated 2FA, After a couple of hours of gaming I took a short break only to find out when I returned I have had my account locked, I have submitted an appeal and now because I have activated 2FA I have received a permanent suspension and with that, I have lost my Xbox Game Pass subscription I bought today & Forfeited all of my Xbox game licenses, Does this mean I've just lost my OG account with all my games and THOUSANDS of hours invested into them? PLEASE ADVISE I need serious help here, I am desperate to get back on man, I spent £100 on new DLC's and games to play today only to have them unfairly snatched away by the big kids like I'm a god damn bully victim, WTAF. Sorry for the outburst and thank you very much for any help and advice in advance

@silk merlin Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.

To help us help you, make sure to answer:

  • What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
  • **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
  • Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)

If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.

All of that has to be handled by official support.

#

There is no real advice to give other than to make sure you give all the information possible to prove you have ownership of the account.

#

I recommend going through the system with that in mind, knowing that its likely to take a bit of time to get things sorted out.

Hello, We received your service request and after review, I found Two-Step Verification (TSV) has been enabled on the account. Unfortunately, when TSV is turned on, we are unable to assist with an account recovery as TSV takes the account recovery completely out of control of customer service. We are unable to remove the TSV or make any changes to the security information on the account due to security protocols set up on the account and accepted in the Microsoft Services agreement when the account was created. The only option we have is to permanently suspend this account to prevent any further use of the account. I have verified that the account is suspended and will remain so. Although this may not be the resolution you were expecting, unfortunately, it is the only resolution we can provide. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience during the resolution of the issue.
This ticket will now be closed. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to submit a new request.
Sincerely,
Rob

I'll be sure to update here if anything changes, I heard 1 lucky soul won the lottery and him being in this EXACT situation, The Sun newspaper catching wind of his reddit post about it, A xbox exec reached out and quietly gave him his account back and all of his stuff, Never had issues again, Maybe if I get a whole effing newspaper to write how bad the support is for microsoft, Someone may actually let me back into my damn account lol

well, with the whole.. 2fa thing yeah. it does make it so they cant get in. rather on purpose

#

its meant to protect it from getting hacked all from the outside yk?

#

you want that, but also.. then its also like.. a problem and a half to sort out

#

huge pain for everyone

#

if there was a way to remove the 2fa or something if the account wasnt suspended, so then they could fix it.. idk

#

its layers of not all their stuff AMpanic

#

doesnt help you ofc, bc part of it is a personal issue, that they had actual access to your devices

Yeah my ex was actively kicking me out of the account so I had no choice but to activate it, I can't even log in to my outlook for my emails man, I run my record label through that email, Xbox didnt like the western-styled stand off for my account ownership so they took everything including my business outside of gaming XD yeah I suppose the only person to blame here really is the Ex who stole my account in the first place, It's such a disheartening, crappy situation I've gotten into here

thorn sage
#

yeah when other people have access to recovery emails and things like that.. it gets to be a huge tangled mess

#

going forward, dont give people access to those

This is why even my own mother doesn't have access to my account or XBox. She has her own and I literally gave her my old one to make sure she couldn't use mine.

I'm happy to rebuy my entire library if I have to, Happy to finally lose my GTA Online account (made day 1 modded to the nines, Completely irreplaceable) But my main game has had licenses taken away and DLC's removed from the store which I own on my account, and that grind is something I can't face again XD

If it’s your account and they keep taking over the account after you reclaimed it, you can contact a lawyer because this is a civil dispute.

Ah really? That's cool because I did try to go down the legal route before but, Action Fraud, The Police and my solicitor/attorney almost laughed it off and didn't care, I'll definately try this again, Thanks for the tip man
