Trouble linking Minecraft account

Hello, I recently redeemed one of the Minecraft gift cards that comes with both the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition. I entered the code on my laptop and successfully claimed it using the same Microsoft account that I also use on my Xbox. Everything shows up correctly on my PC, but when I try to open Minecraft on my Xbox, the system acts as if I don’t own the game and tells me I need to purchase it again.

Could you please help me figure out why my Xbox isn’t recognizing the redemption, even though I used the same account for both devices? Thanks!

That game is not Play Anywhere. Since you bought the PC version, it will only work on PC. You need the Xbox version if you want to play on Xbox.
