#Mic input issues

The last week I've been having an issue where, if I'm in a discord call or an xbox party but I have no mic turned on or plugged in, and then I then do turn one on, the headphones have audio but the mic has no input?? I thought this was an issue with my arctis 5x but I just tried my old razer headphones and it does it with those too, is there any issues with party chats/discord right now?

My steps are (be in a party chat or discord call)

Activate your headphones

Mic input doesn't work (but with my arctis there's feedback)

Leave the call and rejoin

Input works

I tried my Old xbox today, went into a party and then powered on my headphones. The mic didn't have any input the first time.
I tried it multiple times and it only happened once

I switched back to my series x and went into a party, powered on My headphones and everytime without fail, no mic input

It only happens if I'm in a discord call or party before I've powered on headphones, is there a known issue right now? Or is something wrong with my console

its def not the console, probably the controller or headset

I've used multiple sets of headphones, and two different controllers.

Earlier I was using the mic test on bo6 and my mic input wasn't working in game chat either, I spoke to someone on a support and they said others have made tickets about this

I have to leave and rejoin parties for it to "fix itself" I literally don't know what's going on

Unless my usb dongle from my arctis 5x has damaged one of the ports and my xbox thinks there's a mic input active when there isn't that's what I was worrying about, but I've switched the usb's around to different ports so that shouldn't be an issue idek

there is a audio setting on xbox that says party chat output and then u can set it on speaker or headset
