I have an Xbox series S and its controller disconnects from time to time, i tried wired connection with 3 cables ( let’s not talk about the fourth ) and the same problem was occurring and batteries weren’t the best option either since they kept disconnecting as well yet less frequent but still annoying

Okay so,

1- Like I said, Xbox Series S

2- I tried using different cables ( 4 total ) and tried batteries as well

3- No error codes i guess

When it disconnects, does it unpair and you have to pair it manually again, or does it reconnect automatically?

Also try Bluetooth on your phone or PC in case this happens.

This could help diagnose whether it could be a problem with the console's card, the sync button, or some interference.

Also, keep an eye on the controller's lights when this happens.

With that information, they'll be able to help you better :).

# acoustic gate When it disconnects, does it unpair and you have to pair it manually again, or d...

I mostly need to pair it manually again but without holding it just pressing it once unlike most of the time where i need to hold the button for it to turn on

The light turns off once it unpairs however sometimes it flickers and becomes unusable until it stops flickering and pairs automatically ( this happens when i use batteries )

I did figure out why the wired connection was so bad though, the usb ports in the xbox aren’t the best i guess, i plugged it somewhere else and it didn’t unpair :p
