Is anyone else having an issue where when you're in a party chat or discord call, you'll be forced into game chat and when you switch back to the party or discord call, it won't detect your voice when you speak. I don't know what's going on but it's annoying me the fact it takes a restart to fix

In a more detailed explanation, I'll be in a discord call and I'll notice I can't hear my friends speaking but can see the username showing up.
I can hear game sound so it isn't a mic issue pretty sure

I'll check my call and it'll say I'm in game chat or (switch to discord) so I'll do that, and then I can't hear anyone, nor is my voice picked up. It takes me restarting my xbox to fix this

No never, it's 100% of the time if I power on headphones while in a party/active game chat or discord call. I ended up buying a new xbox and a new pair of arctis nova's but I doubt it was an xbox issue as it did it to my xbox one S too (just waiting on it to be delivered)

It first started back in April when I got My arctis nova x5's. But it was rarily my mic would have no input. And then the other week it's 100% consistent.. Back I'm glad I'm not the only one with the issue :/ it's really annoying

Best thing to do, don't let your mic turn off while in an active VC

And if you use wireless, don't "accidentally" switch to BT

If it does happen, just start a party and leave a few times (seems to be my fix) as turning the headphones off doesn't do it anymore

I had that last month, twice. Audio worked fine but I couldn't hear anyone or he heard and only a full reboot fixed it

Have you verified your age? Assuming you're in the UK (it's a bug I know for sure) but just incase

Tell me about it.. I bought a whole new xbox because xbox couldn't declare it a bug and just kept copy pasting in my tickets

So, got my new xbox

It must be an xbox issue so ima leave this post open incase anyone else comes across this issue
