Every time i try to turn on my controller the xbox symbol flashes then stops and my controller vibrates twice

I've tried new batteries tired turning my console off and on again and unplugging it and back in nothing happens
Also tried to resync it but nothing happens

There might be a syncing issue
Turn off the console and controller.
Locate the sync buttons on both the controller and the console.
Press and hold both sync buttons simultaneously until the lights flash and the controller vibrates.
Release the buttons and allow the controller to reconnect to the console.
If this doesn’t work you might have to reset the controller
