I bought GTA IV on my Xbox 360 on a disc, and when I booted up the game, it crashed a couple of times, I tried resetting the game, turning off my Xbox, cleaning the disc, but nothing, It doesn't work, and my disc doesn't have a lot of scratches. Is there a fix?

Have you tried installing it to the hard drive to see if you get any errors?

might be overkill but you can try formatting your drive and reinstalling it and then recover gamertag as a last resort

I know but a disc can still be damaged even if you can't see anything wrong with it sometimes. Can't really think of much beyond it right now at the moment unfortunately

It crashes at Rockstar North zooming out, or at the lady licking a lollipop, or at "The Cousins Bellic" starting up

Even if a disc looks brand new it can still have issues if scratches are not visible or if resurfacing caused problems

All you can do is play from the disc without the hdd
