My Xbox Series X since the day I bought it is randomly freezing mid-game, the controller getting disconnected is a first sign, everything is frozen or some animations repeat themselves and that's it. If i wait long enough, around 10 minutes, the console will shutdown, so I guess it is something like a BSOD.
After starting it again there's no warning that something went wrong.. so I have no idea why it does that.
It happens everywhere, in the lobby, in-game, when downloading etc.
Thanks to this I played it maybe 20 hours in the last 20 months, only resport is to send it for a repair?
