My hunk of junk faulty Xbox series X forces ONLY PARTY CHAT through my headphones, the audio cracks CONSTANTLY, the controller will randomly disconnect for no apparent reason, I can hear only from one side of my headset half the time (that might be on the headset), and the mic stoped working like 10 minutes ago for no reason.

it sounds like something has failed with the headset and its not been seen has a stereo headset anymore, that would explain bad audio quality and only been able to hear from one side has stereo is needed.

The audio quality is a problem even with the headphones off, it will just randomly crackle on my Xbox.

I’m going to assume you’re using a wired headset based on your issues. Sounds like a bad or loose connection port. Try using another controller.
