Having a issue for a few weeks on XSX where the console wont detect any wireless connections after boot and requires multiple full reboots to detect.
For example, i boot the console and itll say not connected to internet, so I go to wireless settings. There will be no listed connections of mine, or neighbors, or even my hotspot. I can wait 5 minutes and nothing.
After multiple reboots (can range from a single reboots to 20+ reboots) it can finally detect wireless networks
Troubleshooting steps taken:
- Rebooting device
- Powercycle (turn if fully [in settings to ensure no standby], unplug the console and display adapter, and hold the power button for 5 minutes, plugin and try again)
- Waiting few days
- Forgetting all networks
- Clearing the consoles MAC address in advanced network settings
- Slightly dusting the console off
This issue started a few weeks ago, only change I can think of is a software update.
Ive tried contacting xbox support but to no help.
