#Xbox Blocks Regional Access — No Options Left for Egyptian Users

I’ve been using Xbox for over a decade (Xbox 360, Xbox One, now Series S). I live in Egypt, which has no official Xbox console region support.

For years, I used Turkey as my region. The prices were fair because the Turkish Lira is close to Egyptian Pound in value. I could buy games and Game Pass normally.

Six months ago, this stopped.
Every region besides the US now gives me “incorrect region” errors when trying to buy anything.

US prices are impossible — USD is 50x stronger than EGP. That makes most games completely unaffordable. Game Pass also became worse — no more $1 trial, replaced with a weak 2-week version at higher prices.

When I raise this on Discord, mods either ignore me or call me a marketplace fraud. I’m not scamming anyone. I just want to play games at fair prices like everyone else.

I need help. I have no way to buy games, no way to subscribe, and no support.

What should I do?
What do you expect users from Egypt (and other unsupported countries) to do?
Why are we blocked from affordable regions with no solution?

Suggested solutions:

Add Egypt as a supported console region

Allow access to nearby regions again (like Turkey or UAE)

Stop accusing users of fraud for simply trying to play

I’m a real user who wants to support Xbox. You’re making that impossible.
