so i have had my friend's account set to my xbox as his 'home xbox' which gives me his library of games, and this has been working for 1 and a half years now, almost 2. i am aware of this feature being supported and legal by microsoft, however this morning i woke up to play some Sea of Theves and it said i do not have a multiplayer subscription. Only the multiplayer is not working, and i have seen at least one other post about this not working. i still have all of the features and perks of game pass ultimate like normal, however i cannot play multiplayer. i am also wondering if this might be some new terms of service update? Any ideas on what is happening or how i can fix this?

-i opened a game and all that happened was that i do not have a subscription to multiplayer/xbox live. i still also have access to all the games as usual.
- i have tried restarting my xbox multiple times, talking to my friend and he can use his account perfectly fine. i tried signing into his account and checking mine but it still doesnt work and says i need a multiplayer subscription, which is annoying because it has been working for almost 2 years now.

Users have been reporting there's a bug with home xbox. I haven't seen xbox make a post about it. But users have said factory resetting the xbox with keep data selected fixed the issue.
i can confirm, this also just started happening to me. i was playing ark survival with my brother, we logged off to eat dinner, and 20 minutes later when i tried to join him it was prompting me to buy live. tried to restart my game and console, but its still not working
