#Transferring 360 game into new-gen Xbox

There's a game I've been trying to transfer into my Series S, it's called R.U.S.E.

I've downloaded it onto my USB storage which was formatted by the 360, however when I plug it into the Series S, it doesn't 'detect' the 360 files and is seen/formatted as "media" on the Series' formatting options. Formatting on either console risks deleting the game file entirely.

Both the 360 and the S have different formatting types and conflict with each other.

Some solutions I've hypothesized are:

  • Seeing if I can transfer via data transfer cords (if that's a thing)

  • Getting a Series X (unfortunately not in my budget for the time being)

  • Finding a way to transfer it without the need for the 360

  • Attempting to download it directly onto my 2Tb external storage drive (however the issue would be needing to go through the same entire formatting problem again.)

I've checked and tried to upload to the cloud but it is limited to 2gb and the game itself is about 4gbs

What are some suggestions or ideas?

Is the game backwards compatible on series s?

I believe so, I know it got pulled from xbox marketplace a few years back and I wasn't able to purchase it onto my account before it did, I've got a physical copy but the series s is digital-only

Then u need a console that has a disc drive to play it. U dont have a digital license to the game so u will only be able to play it physically. Or have a 360
